Liminal Custody, 2025–now

Liminal Admin Panel

Internal tools are where operations teams spend their whole day. I redesigned the Admin Panel so permissions, keys and configuration are structured, readable and hard to get wrong.

Business context

The Admin Panel is used by Liminal's operations and management teams to run the platform: managing users and permissions, API keys, firewall rules and system configuration.

Problem

Configuration screens tend to grow by accretion. Each new setting adds another field until the layout no longer explains what matters or what a change will affect.

Role-based access, illustrated

Permissions read as a matrix: roles across, capabilities down, so gaps and overlaps are visible at a glance.

Illustration notes:
  1. Roles
  2. Capability grants
  3. Edit mode for sensitive settings

Illustrative. Not a product screenshot.

What I designed

  • Role-based access control and user permission management.
  • API key management.
  • Firewall settings with a dedicated edit mode.
  • Data tables, management dashboards and configuration panels.
  • Role-based operational workflows for internal teams.

My contribution

  • Restructured layouts, navigation and workflows to make internal tools faster to use.
  • Kept the Admin Panel visually and behaviorally consistent with Vaults.
  • Worked with engineering and product through implementation.
